The Defending Champion.

The most recent Volvo China Junior Championship Champion.

12 players from the Qualifying rounds.

36 players as determined by the China Tour.

5 professional tournament invitations.

2 professional tournament invitations for Chinese players who are members of the national team but are not members of the China Tour, as determined by the CGA.

1 Chinese Amateur Champion.

2 amateur tournament invitations.

The balance of the field will be completed in accordance with the 2024 DP World Tour Exemption Category List, excluding Categories 6 and 8. NOTE: The top 5 Regulation applies from the ISPS HANDA - Championship into this tournament.

Eligibility Notes

Chinese players who are members of and exempt through both Tours will be entered through (d).

Players from outside of China who are members of and exempt through both Tours will be entered through (i).

When a player who is a member of both Tours becomes Exempt, he will remain allocated to the Tour under which he first became Exempt, even if he subsequently becomes Exempt through his “home” Tour.

If, following withdrawals, the China Tour are unable to fill their allocation of spots under (d) above, then the number of spots allocated to the DP World Tour under (i) above will be increased accordingly and vice versa.

If the spot in (a) is unused, that spot will be added to (i).

If any of the spots in (b), (c), (f) or (g) above are unused, then the remaining spots will be added to (d).

If any of the spots in (e) or (h) are unused, then the remaining spots will be added to (i).

Format

72 holes stroke play with a cut after 2 rounds to the leading 65 professionals and ties.
