ELIGIBILITY:

a) The leading 72 available Players from the 2021 European Tour Exemption Category list excluding Categories 6 and 8. These 72 players to include spots for the following: -

i. Those qualifying via the top 10 Regulation that applies from the Porsche European Open into this tournament.

ii. The leading 3 available players not otherwise exempt from within the Top 114 of the Final 2020 Race to Dubai Rankings.

iii. The leading 5 players from the final 2020 European Challenge Tour Rankings.

b) The leading 72 available Players from the 2021 LET Exemption Category list

c) 4 professional tournament invitations. (2 men and 2 women)

d) 4 amateur tournament invitations. (2 men and 2 women)

e) 4 National Professionals. (2 men and 2 women)

Eligibility Notes:

(i) The spots in (a)(ii) and a(iii) within the European Tour’s allocation have been created by the addition of this new tournament.

(ii) If any of the spots in (c) – (e) above are unused, then where these were allocated to men the number of spots in (a) above will be increased accordingly and where these were allocated to women, the number of spots in (b) above will be increased accordingly.

(iii) If there are less than 72 players entered under (a) above then at the discretion of the European Tour additional invitations to European Tour Members will be extended or the field for men will be reduced accordingly.

(iv) If there are less than 72 players entered under (b) above, then at the discretion of the LET additional invitations to LET Members will be extended or the field for women will be reduced accordingly.

(v) If all of the European Tour’s Category 17 are not exempt into the tournament as of 12 noon UK time on Thursday 3rd June, exemption (a)(iii) will be removed.

**Field size is subject to change even after close of entries if government policy relating to Covid19 requires this.

FORMAT:

• 72 holes stroke play with a cut after 2 rounds to the leading 65 professionals & ties.

• Men and women will play from different tees.

• For the first 2 rounds, men and women will be paired together with all groups either containing 1 man and 2 women or 2 men and 1 woman.

• After the cut, groupings for rounds 3 and 4 will be in strict score order with the order of tied players determined on a “last in – first out” basis.

• All participants are competing for one prize fund with prize money and reserve money awarded in accordance with the European Tour prize money policy in force at the time of the event.

• In the event of a cut of more than 78 professionals, a third-round cut will be made to the leading 72 professionals and ties.

• Race to Dubai and Ryder Cup Points will be awarded based on the final results of men only but still only awarding points to those men making the 36-hole cut.
